BOOK DESIGN

I have been designing children’s books for over 20 years during which time I have had the privilege to work with some fantastic illustrators and publishers. For me, designing a book requires not simply the ability to put together the key elements of the book but to design the product as a whole. The finishes, the format, the paper stock, the jacket, case and endpapers. When all these elements work together then we have the makings of a beautiful book. Alongside designing and art directing I am also experienced in book production and working with printers and reprographics. I will prepare print ready files, colour corrected and archive ready.
